Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a therapeutic style that looks at how thoughts and beliefs can affect behaviors. CBT believes that learned behaviors and emotions are caused by one’s thoughts. This style of therapy is also one of the most effective treatments and is known as an “evidence based therapy” which simply means that CBT techniques are proven and effective.
