My approach to therapy in “therapy terms” is based on cognitive behavioral therapy or “CBT”. CBT is the most well established and proven approach to therapy with a plethora of evidence-based research.
However, my approach for each person is different. I won’t treat you the same way I treat someone else. My intention is to listen, sit with you, without judgement and work towards the baby steps of making progress. I want to help encourage and shine a light on what is true but also be a mirror to reflect who you are based on what I’m hearing. I will often point out negative thinking or lies you tell yourself.
